Gargee Bhattacharjee is a celebrated semi-classical vocal artist whose melodious voice has captivated audiences across India.

Trained in the esteemed Pt. Chinmoy Lahiri Gharana, she holds top-level certifications in Indian classical music—Sangeet Pravakar, Sangeet Probor, and Sangeet Sudhakar (Gold Medalist in Rabindra Sangeet)—and has been awarded the prestigious Grade 'A' artist designation by All India Radio (AIR). She also serves as a member of the audition board panel at Akashvani Delhi.

Her vocal repertoire spans a wide range of styles, with a special focus on light classical music, Ghazals, and Geets, along with Rabindra Sangeet, Atul Prasad, Dwijendra Geet, Rajanikanta songs, Shyama Sangeet, and folk music. Her performances are known for their emotional depth and musical precision.

Gargee has led acclaimed programs across the country and has been a constant fixture on national radio and television programs commemorating events such as Martyr’s Day at Rajghat, Public Service Broadcasting Day at AIR Delhi and other major national occasions where she has performed in front of dignitaries including the president and prime minister of India.

In addition to her artistic accomplishments, Gargee is a dedicated teacher with over 25 years of experience, inspiring students across generations in the discipline of Hindustani classical music. She is also an exceptionally skilled harmonium player, adding richness to both her performances and teaching practice.
